Over 25 years ago I met my husband, Jeff while in college. While finishing my degree, I began working as a tech in a Santa Monica ER with a dream of becoming a surgeon. I passing my surgical boards with excitement - but quickly realized how diffcult it would be to start a family with the long hours and call schedule. So, I graduated with NO idea which area of medicine I wanted to practice...

A friend working in pain management encouraged me to "try it out." I stayed in pain management for almost 10 years, mostly taking care of cancer patients and chronic pain patients. My experience here has been invaluable for my career - as pain is ubiquitous in medicine. It took a great deal of patience and gentleness to help these patients, which made me a better provider.

During my time in pain management, Jeff and I became parents to our two beautifully unique, neurodivergent kiddos who have shaped so much of who we are. Our lives and schedules changed, and I made the decision to transition to hospital medicine then GI medicine, finally settling into to emergency medicine.

Almost 5 years ago, my husband was searching for answers to hair loss and we discovered the world of Aesthetic Medicine. Shortly after, I realized my passion for it and began the process of opening my own Medspa Practice. Although our schedules are busy and some days filled with chaos, we love our life together and wouldn't trade it for anything.

My journey into the world of wellness started back in 2019 after trying just about every diet in the world. As a certified nutritionist, I've taken a more wholistic approach to health and dedicated myself to translating nutrition so that is can be implemented by anyone.

Where it all began
In 2017, we purchased what would quickly become our biggest project as a couple and soon-to-be family of three. The 9th street house was our first home renovation - intended to be a sanctuary for our own family to grow. It quickly became our passion. We look back at the 9th street house and think of it as the birthplace of this business and the passion that led us to creating beautiful homes for other families, too.
